In 2014, Greece launched a program that grants any foreigner residing outside of the European Union the right to obtain a visa allowing them free movement throughout Europe. This program is considered to be one of the most affordable residence programs through investment offering access to Europe. Selected applicants and their families can access the Schengen Area without a visa within the two months following their application. In exchange, Visa applicants must invest in a property in Greece of a minimum value of 250,000€.

The major advantage of the Schengen visa lies in the large extent of freedom it provides. For instance, it allows you to go to your country of origin to spend a week’s holiday before returning to your country of residence.
